Your responsibilities
- Lead and develop a product-oriented backend engineering team
- Take responsibility for core B2B platform services
- Make and drive architectural decisions together with the team
- Stay hands-on, write code yourself and solve complex technical challenges
- Take responsibility for microservices based on the “You build it, you run it” principle
- Develop secure, scalable and maintainable solutions with real business impact
- Work closely with Product Management and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate APIs, interfaces and architecture across multiple teams
- Drive AI-assisted development and new engineering approaches within the team
Your profile
- Experience leading and developing engineering teams
- Empowering leadership style: trust instead of micromanagement
- Very good knowledge of Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL
- Confident working with microservices, Kubernetes and production systems
- Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architectures, ideally Kafka
- Interest in AI-assisted development; experience with agentic AI practices is a plus
